Barcelona Pride
Catalan pride.
The gay pride march in Barcelona is one of the largest LGBT events in the Mediterranean region. For ten days, the Catalan city bustles with excitement, hosting over 100,000 people in 2010!
The entire city dons the colours of the Rainbow Flag. Bars and clubs organise special evenings featuring debates and a gay pride village is set up. The Tibidabo amusement park also takes part in the festivities celebrating Barcelona Pride.
The most anticipated event is obviously the parade, which brings together many organisations and the thousands of participants who have come to support this event.
