Casa Milà or La Pedrera by Gaudi

Gaudi's finest work.
The Casa Mila, known as La Perdrera, is a fascinating edifice. Designed by Gaudi, it was intended to bring life to an ordinary apartment block, though the apartments were never rented out. Today it is the second-most visited building in the city after the famed Sagrada Familia. Gaudi's style leaves a lasting impression on everyone who lays eyes on his work, and La Perdrera is perhaps the most representative of his style. It seems to have grown organically, inspired by nature, water in particular, with structures shaped like human bones. It has been a great inspiration for many an artist since.
