The MNAC (the National Museum of Catalonian Art) is a goldmine of local artwork. Within one can admire a plethora of displays: sculptures, paintings, objets d'art, drawings, engravings, prints, posters, photographs… The museum's collections span from the early 10th century to the mid 20th, covering about a millenium of Catalonian art. You can admire Roman and Gothic Medieval art, Renaissance and Baroque works (El Greco, Velázquez, Rubens…), and much more.
