Park Güell

An ode to nature.
The Park Güell is Antoni Gaudi's ode to nature… His architectural and decorative work, his sculptures, all fit into the surrounding environment like a fish in water. His is a world of organic curves, a world where straight lines are entirely alien. His columns are more like tree trunks, his constructions flow like water, among the mosaic decorations, giving the entire park a magical atmosphere. At the centre of the park the terrace offers a beautiful view of the city.
Along with six other monuments designed by Gaudi, the Park Güell was classified in 1984 as a Unesco World Heritage Monument.
